“The Real World” Turns 21

If MTV’s popular reality TV series suddenly morphed into of the young people it documents it would only now be of legal age to imbibe in an alcoholic beverage. Ironically, the show has often been accused of glamorizing underage drinking and it doesn’t look like that’s going to change anytime soon. Earlier this week MTV execs announced it has green-lighted the 21st season of “The Real World.” And viewers can expect some changes to the new episodes. Extreme Makeover Host Faces DUI Charges I will admit that every once in a while, when I forget to turn the channel, I am sucked into watching Extreme Makeover – Home Edition. I hate to watch it because frankly, it usually makes me end up crying because I am so happy for the recipient family. Now, host Ty Pennington has his own worries to cry over. Happy Birthday MTV

August is a big month for birthdays in my family. My birthday is in August as is my father’s, grandfather’s, two cousins and a niece. (All Leos!)
