Jilted “Bachelor” Chick Does “Dancing with the Stars”

Melissa Rycroft may think Jason “The Bachelor” Mesnick is a jerk, but if he hadn’t dumped her on national TV, I highly doubt she would have been given the chance to kick it on “Dancing with the Stars.” It’s just a RUMOR… right now, but sources tell PEOPLE magazine that 25-year-old Rycroft is in fact taking the celebrity contestant slot vacated by Access Hollywood host Nancy O’Dell. Let’s begin with the end… the end of “Bachelor” Matt Grant and Shayne Lamas’ engagement. C’mon people… did anyone out there think this union was going to lead to a stroll to the altar? Why Take Dating Advice from this “Bachelor”?

Recently I caught part of an episode of Dr. Phil where he had some handsome guy as a guest trying to advise women how not to be in order to get the man of their dreams. ALOHA Andy and Tessa—Another “Bachelor” Engagement Called Off

After the whole Andrew Firestone and Jen Schefft fiasco (“The Bachelor” season 3) I vowed never to watch the ABC dating/mock-engagement show ever again. That promise lasted seven whole seasons until… Hawaii. When my home state became the backdrop for last season’s episodes starring Lt. Zip It—Zip It Good!

Did you catch last week’s edition of “The Bachelor?” (I promise the only reason I am watching parts of it this season is because Andy the “bachelor” lives in Hawaii and my sister-in-law knows some of his friends.)
