Of the 6,000 fans that gathered outside a Chicago church last week to bid farewell to actor Bernie Mac more than half wondered why his publicist continually fed false health updates to the media during his hospitalization. I live in Packer Country—-home of pro football’s Green Bay Packers and probably the only place in the world where residents were watching yesterday’s Dallas vs. Philadelphia game as intensely as Cowboy and Eagle fans.
