Now nearly two decades after the popular teen drama hit the airwaves Duff could get the chance to make her mark on the show. E! News is reporting that producers recently approached the 20-year-old singer-actress to star in the CW’s upcoming Beverly Hills, 90210 spinoff. Not in reruns, but a spinoff to be aired on the CW. Rob Thomas (he’s the guy who created “Veronica Mars”) is reportedly writing the pilot for an updated version of “Beverly Hills, 90210” minus the goody-goody Walsh family. In my previous blogs I told you that stars such as Sean Penn and Suzanne Somers were just a few of the Malibu residents forced to flee their million-dollar mansions since Sunday. Apparently being a wife, mother, and reality TV show star wasn’t enough for Tori Spelling. The actress recently revealed on her MySpace page that she is now an officially ordained minister. Spelling says she applied for her ordination online and her certificate “is in the mail.” So why is the actress adding minister to her resume? The word diversifying comes to mind.
