Young Women’s: Completing Handicrafts for Value Projects

Many of the value projects include learning a new skill or craft for Young Women’s. A lot of homemaking skills are becoming a lost art and it would be wonderful for your daughter or young women to learn them. A few of the skills that I learned in young women’s included basic cake decorating which gave me the courage to decorate my children’s birthday cakes. When you or your daughter are considering subjects for your next value project you should consider activities that she is already participating in. There are many different projects that can involve school activities or classes. If your daughter is in high school this is an added benefit since she is already so busy.
