Dennis Hopper Gets Hollywood Star

Actor Dennis Hopper got a much deserved star on the famous Hollywood Walk of Fame this week. But, it was obvious to anyone that saw pictures taken at the event that the actor is in failing health. The gaunt actor, who is suffering from prostate cancer, had to be helped on stage by a friend. His right arm and eye were bandaged, something Hopper attributed to a fall outside his home. More Oscar Buzz

My husband gets it, but some of my friends just don’t understand that my Oscar obsession lasts days after the actual ceremony. Viggo Mortensen…Russian Mobster? No, actor Viggo Mortensen is not a Russian mobster, but he plays one in his new movie Eastern Promises. He had to spend four hours in the makeup chair so the specialist could apply tattoos similar to those worn by real Russian mobsters. Mortensen himself traveled through Russia, meeting with Mafia bosses to study the tattoo art in order to make his character look authentic. And it worked!
