Pop Culture Potpourri: Actor’s Dogs are Not Killers and Clooney’s Latest Award

Ving Rhames’ dogs didn’t kill anyone. Or so claims a new report that was compiled after an exhaustive five-month investigation. According to the Los Angeles Department of Coroner, 40-year-old Jacob Adams, the man who was found dead on the front lawn of the actor’s L.A. home back in August was not mauled to death by Rhames’ dogs as police first reported. The nasty custody battle between Arizona Cardinals quarterback Matt Leinart and his former girlfriend, Brynn Cameron over their 10-month-old son, Cole has been temporarily resolved. According to news reports, an agreement between the former lovers was reached yesterday and will last through the football season. It states that the USC basketball star will maintain primary custody of Cole, while Leinart will fly from Arizona to L.A. every Monday and spend 24 hours with his son. Actor’s Dog Mauls Man

It’s not exactly the news you want to hear when you are out enjoying a nice summer day — your dogs just mauled a man and now he’s dead. Unfortunately, that’s exactly the situation actor Ving Rhames is dealing with this morning. According to police, two dogs belonging to Rhames are suspected of having seriously injured the man who takes care of the actor’s home.
