WHAT ABOUT JACK? You may remember her from TV’s “The Practice.” Or from NBC’s “Las Vegas.” Though, her most publicized role to date could be that of Jack Nicholson’s girlfriend. I’m talking about Lara Flynn Boyle and yes, Nicholson was 33 years her senior, but the two seemed to hit it off and went public with their romance at the 1999 Emmys and reportedly remained together through the latter part of 2000. Legendary TV Mom Dies

On of TV’s favorite moms has died. Jane Wyatt, described by many as “the lovely and serene actress” who for six years starred on the popular show “Father Knows Best” died in her sleep on Friday, her son Christopher Ward told reporters yesterday. She was 96. According to Wyatt’s publicist, the actress died of natural causes at her Bel-Air home. Wyatt’s son added that his mother had experienced health problems since suffering a stroke at 85, but her mind was sharp until her death. How this for irony: just a few days ago actress Lindsay Lohan was rushed to the hospital after slipping and falling at a New York City Fashion Week party. According to news reports, the 20-year-old fractured her wrist in two places. Well, that didn’t take long! It seems like just yesterday I was blogging about “Desperate Housewives” star Marcia Cross’ summer wedding to “sweetie” Tom Mahoney.
