The Do’s and Don’ts of Adhesive

After you’ve played around with different adhesives, it’s time to focus on the importance of choosing the right one and what to watch for. Here are a few Do’s and Don’ts for Adhesives: Do use adhesives that are photo-safe and acid-free. Don’t use your child’s glue stick. Be sure to check any type of adhesive for the words acid-free. Adhesives are an important part of scrapbooking. I firmly believe that having a nice variety of them is also extremely important. The reason behind this is because we adhere many different elements to our layouts and each one can use a separate type of adhesive. Attaching Ribbon to Scrapbook Layouts

In an earlier blog I shared ideas about different ways to incorporate ribbon into scrapbook layouts. Now I am going to some different options for attaching ribbon to your layout. There are several ways that ribbon can be attached to a layout. 1. Generally when I want to attach a strip of ribbon to a page, I like to run it through my Xryon machine.
