Babies in the News: The Miracle of New Life

Do you remember when your baby was born? When you held him in your arms or the first time he cried and you were able to calm him for no other reason than that you were the mommy? Mom Does Hubby a Great Favor and Gives Birth Early

My husband may win Superdad of the Year award–he’s great. But I have to say, he most certainly did not start out that way. For each of my singleton births, my husband got progressively worse. He did everything from saying: “Oh honey, you can push harder. It can’t be that difficult,” to asking me to wait before I had a contraction because after all. . .he was busy watching Sports Center on ESPN! The only reason he was not this way at the birth of the twins is that I explained to him in no uncertain terms that he had … Continue reading

Babies in the News: You Can Do That On Television

I need to preface this article with the fact that just a few weeks ago, I saw this babies in the news story on the television show Grey’s Anatomy. The story wasn’t exactly the same as the one I am going to share with you here, but the tale did feature a young woman with two wombs, carrying two children and the babies were conceived at different times – so the trick was to deliver the infant that was ready to be born and protect the one that needed another six weeks of gestation.
