Fun and Frugal Uses for Leftover Balloons

My son’s birthday was on Friday, and of course we had balloons. I use balloons a lot around my house in various ways, and until I was reminded this weekend, I almost forgot to share some of the creative and frugal things you can do with balloons. It is amazing the everyday things we take for granted, when we can use them all over again in a frugal way. Usually when you buy a bag of balloons, you don’t blow them all up. Perfect for using them in other ways around the house. Laundry Room My favorite place to use … Continue reading

Water Balloon Fun

Yesterday, I helped my boys get ready for a water balloon fight. It was a perfect afternoon for playing with water balloons. It was hot, dry, and being hit with water actually felt great. I’d bought the balloons on an impulse purchase at the dollar store. Next time we will spend a little more. They were not quality made. We were all more than a little wet by the time we’d filled and tied the balloons. Several burst before we even touched them. A couple of balloons had tears in them and wouldn’t hold water. Quite a few tore as … Continue reading

Visiting An Inflatable House of Horrors

You’ve heard of homes built of wood and brick. You may have even heard of structures made of clay and aluminum.
