Nephi has gone back into Jerusalem to try once again to get the brass plates from Laban. He doesn’t know exactly what he’s going to do, but the Spirit leads him to Laban, who is laying drunk in the street. They want to give up altogether, but Nephi speaks to them, hoping to convince them of the importance of their quest.
