A New Site For Survivors

I found a new website that is like Facebook but for people, who have had, currently have or are supporters of cancer. The site is called IHADCANCER.com I like the site for a few reasons. One you can search for people in your area, your diagnosis, your age etc. The site will automatically search for people that are like you and near you too so you can add to your circle of support. Undergoing chemotherapy can be an emotional strain, as well as a physical strain. Try to keep in mind that you have many different people in your support system! Your doctors, nurses, and other health professionals. These people are here to answer your questions about your cancer treatments. Let them know if you feel worried or depressed, or if you are experiencing other emotional or physical changes. Counseling professionals can help you understand and deal with your feelings.
