It’s a far cry from a Hilton. (Sorry, I couldn’t resist.) If you haven’t already heard–party princess/hotel heiress Paris Hilton has been sentenced to 45 days in county jail for violating her probation in an alcohol-related reckless driving case. Whether she actually sees the inside of a jail cell remains to be seen—a California judge has mandated she be incarcerated—–but part of me still has a sinking feeling that with all the money that backs the Hilton name, somehow, some way, her daddy will be able to pull some strings and she’ll regain her freedom.
