Marriage is Give and Take

Marriage requires give and take from both parties. Sometimes that may mean doing something you are not overly fond of because your spouse wants to do it. Involvement in My Sister’s Keeper

Having read the book My Sister’s Keeper I was looking forward to seeing the movie. Did it live up to my expectations? Yes and no. It certainly works well as a movie and is worth seeing. I’m glad I saw it. It’s a powerful movie that raises lots of questions. Even though I knew the storyline, it involved me totaly in the story of Sara(Cameron Diaz) and Brian Fitzgerald (Jason Patric) and their family. Marriage isn’t a one off choice and that’s it, marriage is about choosing every day. Choosing to put someone else’s needs about your own. It’s choosing to be committed and stay committed and not keep looking around and wonder what if. .
