And then on October 28, 1996, my world changed forever. I went out to get the mail, and there amongst bills and ads, was a big white envelope addressed to me. PBS Kids also has a website that allows you and your child to peruse the PBS Kids programs. From “Sesame Street” and “Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood” to “Barney” and “Teletubbies,” you and your child are sure to find something that you will both enjoy. Okay, be honest…who doesn’t love the Disney Channel? I especially love the Disney Channel because of their quality programming for youngsters on Playhouse Disney. In addition to watching Playhouse Disney, my daughter and I often go to PlayhouseDisney.com. Playhouse Disney Online is a great way to supplement whatever your child has learned from the shows on Playhouse Disney. It is also a great site to just go to with your child and have fun. It wasn’t long after the contact with my sister that I began to really wonder where my birth mother’s heart was in all of this. I still hadn’t heard anything from her, no relatives said anything about how she felt, and I just didn’t keep asking. Regardless of the age for which it is intended, to say that my one-and-a-half-year-old daughter loves the shows on NOGGIN is an understatement.
