Washington State’s Hidden Treasure

The title of this blog may be a bit deceiving. Perhaps, it should read: “ONE of Washington State’s Hidden Treasures.” The Evergreen State is filled with natural wonders, many of which are tucked away in the hills and valleys that line the area. This particular “treasure,” which I am sharing with you today, was discovered during a recent family vacation. The World of Snow Skiing

Let me preface this blog with the information that I didn’t get to go skiing for the first time until I was about 26 years old. The first time I went, I was equal parts terrified and exhilarated. I had no idea what I was doing and we spent the fifty dollars to get me an hour ‘crash’ course lesson in downhill skiing.
