Soap Star’s Son Dies

Actress Hunter Tylo’s 19-year-old son has died. Tylo, who has been a cast member of CBS’ “The Bold and the Beautiful” on and off for more than 15 years is reportedly inconsolable. Who can blame her? According to police reports, Michael Tylo, Jr. drowned in a pool at a residence in Nevada late Thursday night. Officers say an unidentified family member discovered Michael’s body. In addition, the coroner has determined the teen’s death was an accident. Preliminary reports say it appears Michael fell in the pool after experiencing a seizure. Warmer days ahead means your pet may intentionally (or unintentionally) end up in the water. Texas Bans Smoking in Foster Homes

Texas has become the third state to implement rules governing smoking in foster homes. Beginning in 2007, smoking will be prohibited in foster homes and in automobiles in which foster children are riding. Similar rules were already in force for day care centers in Texas. Researchers have documented the dangers to children of exposure to second-hand smoke. A great number of children in the Texas foster care system are at risk medically.
