Honestly, I have never been fond of the way my feet look. I used to blame it on the fact that I participated in marathons … and when my feet weren’t pounding the pavement on daily runs they were being crammed in high-end heels as part of my not-so glamorous job as a television journalist. But, the truth is my feet were never pretty… even before I made them carry me 26.2 miles without stopping. However, I never contemplated “fixing” them with surgery. Foot Odor

Foot odor may be annoying, but it usually isn’t serious. Most often the culprit is overactive sweat glands — excessive sweating creates the perfect environment for bacterial and fungal growth. So what can you do about stinky feet? When my brother was in high school, I used to attack him and his friend Michael with a can of Lysol because their feet smelled SO BAD! My Monday Feet Were Made For Walking

Just five days left until the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure. I’ll be walking the 1K next Saturday morning and I need to be on site by 6:30 in the morning. Part of my preparation is walking 1K every other day this week and riding my stationary bike for 45 minutes on the alternating days. Since the walk takes place outdoors with more than 10,000 participants, I’ll be alternating the incline to imitate walking up and down hills as well as the uneven feeling of pavement under the feet.
