What is Flyball?

A dog races down a course, hops the jumps, grabs a tennis ball, and races back to where he started. Fun? Definitely! Exciting? Oh yes. This is the sport called Flyball! Flyball comes from southern California, where a group of dog trainers combined hurdle racing with fetch. The earliest version of the game had a person at the far end of the course, tossing a tennis ball to the racing dogs after they finished the jump line.
