Mistaken Cremation

In what was already a parents’ worst nightmare, events that seemed to be at their worst possible point took a turn for the worse. Little Jaylen Talley, only 14 months old, died from apparent breathing problems due to an alleged undiagnosed heart defect. On May 24, his parents could tell something was wrong. They called 911, and Jaylen’s father tried unsuccessfully to resuscitate the toddler. Jaylen later died at Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. As if it wasn’t enough that these parents lost their son, something worse happened: their son was accidentally cremated. The Talleys had been planning a … Continue reading

Heath Ledger’s Beverly Hills Memorial Service

Last night dozens of Heath Ledger’s friends and relatives gathered in Beverly Hills to remember the 28-year-old actor in a low-key ceremony that remarkably wasn’t swarmed by members of the paparazzi. That’s where news reports say Ledger’s family is planning to hold another memorial service before the “Brokeback Mountain” star’s … Continue reading

Realize we really don’t know what … Continue reading

Real Life Four Weddings and a Funeral

It’s been a busy few days for some of Tinseltown’s biggest stars. The media frenzy has finally died down in Sydney, Australia, where Hollywood glamour queen Nicole Kidman wed country-singing superstar Keith Urban in a candlelight ceremony Sunday night. The newlyweds spent their first night as husband and wife in Sydney, then jetted off on their honeymoon Monday. Meanwhile, less than 24 hours after they tied the knot, newlyweds Marcia Cross and Tom Mahoney picked up coffee in Pasadena. It was their first outing as husband and wife following their Saturday nuptials. The Desperate Housewives star wed her stockbroker beau … Continue reading
