Good Intentions

Have you ever had a plan to be nice to your kids completely backfire? That’s been the story of my life this morning. My baby came down with a nasty cold a few days ago, and she’s been pretty miserable. I’ve been doing whatever I can to make her more comfortable: I give her lots of warm baths, run the humidifier, scratch her back, and do lots of baby massage. She normally sleeps in her crib. The Best Intentions of a Single Parent

I have been told that good intentions just aren’t enough, but I would like to think that the universe will cut a little slack for a single parent. After all, many of us carry around the best of intentions most of the time, but things do not always turn out the way we intend.
