Joan Rivers Gets The Boot From The Red Carpet

Can you imagine an awards show red carpet show void of the off-the-cuff remarks made by the ever-present Joan Rivers? Unless she gets hired by another network (which I’m sure she will), the tell-it-like-it-is comedian’s red carpet days are over. The TV Guide Channel just announced that they have decided to end Rivers’ reign as their leading red-carpet hostess. Get rid of that tired stuff and get something in return! Host a party where you and extended family members and friends can trade for “new to you” items. Let people know ahead of time what you have in mind so they can gather up stuff they no longer need or want. Make it clear that “junk” isn’t allowed.
