I realized that Hulk Hogan went through a bitter divorce. I also realized that wrestling is a dangerous “sport” that can often result in concussions and the research the affects of those on athletes are still out. But still, I don’t understand how Hulk Hogan could say in a Rolling Stone interview that he “totally understood” O.J. Simpson. HE’S FREE Free at last! Hulk Hogan’s son is out of jail. While many believe Nick Bollea should have stayed behind bars for at least a few years, the former wrestler’s son is a free man today. The 18-year-old was released from a Florida jail shortly after midnight and reportedly ran into the open arms of his sister Brooke before flashing a peace sign to the paparazzi. Michele and I both have blogged before about the car accident that involved Hulk Hogan’s son Nick and one of his best friends, John Graziano. Nick, who had gotten many speeding tickets before the near fatal car crash, was recently sentenced to 8 months in prison and 3 years probation. John, meanwhile, remains in a hospital bed, where it looks as if he will need constant medical attention for the rest of his life. If you read Michele’s blog on March 25, 2008, you know that Hulk Hogan’s son Nick was the driver in a car crash that happened on August 27, 2007. The crash occurred in Clearwater, Florida when Nick’s Supra fishtailed and crashed into a median strip then a palm tree. The police believe that Nick was doing in excess of 60 mph in a zone that was marked 40 mph. In this corner… the family of international wrestling star Hulk Hogan. And in this corner… the family of John Graziano, the 23-year-old former Marine who was critically injured in car crash involving Hogan’s son Nick. Ding. Ding. Things seem to be going from bad to worse for pro wrestler Hulk Hogan. The former WWE champ turned reality TV star is back in the headlines again. Hogan whose real name is Terry Bollea found out yesterday that his wife of 24 years filed for divorce.
