Paying for Infertility Treatments

As soon as you realize getting pregnant may be a problem, it’s time to start thinking about how to pay for the treatments. Infertility treatments are very expensive. Unfortunately, insurance companies often refuse to pay for infertility because it’s not considered medically necessary. Lack of money to pay for treatments is one of the most common reasons couples discontinue treatment. This is heartbreaking for the couple. Doctors have been charged with fraud for attempting to help patients. They have been known to bill for other procedures in an attempt to collect money for infertility treatments. Only a few states mandate … Continue reading

Hannah’s Cry, My Cry

Isaac’s wife Rebekah, who was barren, cried out for a child and God gave her 2 boys, Esau and Jacob (Genesis 25:21-25). I too poured my heart out to God. I didn’t care if a baby came from my womb or … Continue reading

The Kids through State Adoptions

Contrary to the stories, concerns and fears you might have read about online, most of the kids adopted through the state that I personally know about are genuinely well adjusted and happy. Many potential adoptive parents become scared off after reading an adoption forum site or watching television. Before becoming resistant to state adoption, there are a few things I’d like you to know: 1. Adoption forum sites typically have posts by parents seeking support and information rather than raving about their wonderful and beautiful children. In other words, people with happy and normal lives don’t always sit and talk … Continue reading
