Every summer, there’s one week where the novelty of no school and a slower schedule passes over into boredom. I am busy this summer with writing, trying to reorganize the house, and doing some long needed home improvements. Ideas for Waiting

The last few weeks of school are a crazy time of year. We seem to be doing a lot of waiting too, as all these extra activities are taking place. We are waiting for extra meetings to be over, waiting for practices to end, waiting for our family members turn at the talent show. Waiting doesn’t have to be boring though. Magnetic Fishing Game – Indoor Fun

Our spring snows are here, and I know much of the county is experiencing rainy cold weather. Here’s a great indoor game for those restless-can’t-go-outside days. Magnetic fishing is a very easy game to make. As a bonus, it can be a great learning tool, and it helps with hand eye coordination. You will need a stick or pencil for your fishing rod. Tie a short string onto one end. On the other end of the string, tie a fairly strong magnet. Now, you just need something to catch.
