If you believe British tabloids actress Kate Hudson is preparing to walk down the aisle with actor boyfriend Owen Wilson—very soon. According to Britain’s News Of The World newspaper, the couple is engaged and will be getting married before the end of the year. Sources tell the paper that the diamond sparkler Hudson was seen wearing on her wedding ring finger three days ago was a gift from Wilson. PETA’s Worst Dressed List

If nothing else, PETA is definitely outspoken about fur wearing celebrities of which they disapprove. They released their worst dressed list recently and it is topped by the Queen of Soul, Aretha Franklin. PETA released their list, saying the following about Aretha: “How ’bout some R-E-S-P-E-C-T for animals? Aretha, when you waddled into the Grammys in yet another vulgar fur, you looked as if you were going to perform ‘I Am the Walrus’ by the Beatles. I suspect the TV ratings for this year’s Grammy Awards will surpass the numbers the Golden Globes got earlier this week. Catching Up With Kiefer and Lindsay

I blogged not too long ago about “24” star Kiefer Sutherland and his most recently DUI. I had to preface that with “most recent” because he has had quite a few. Live and learn Kieifer, live and learn! Anyhow, today he was sentenced to 48 days in the Glendale jail after pleading no contest to drunk driving on September 25. His blood alcohol level was above the .08 legal limit allowed in California. Kiefer must begin serving his time before March 30, 2008.
