Living a Life without Regret

Lately some teen stars (who I won’t name, but we all know who they are) have apologized for pictures of themselves that have been released on the Internet. These pictures were posed and not taken accidentally, and yet somehow these stars didn’t realize until after their release that they were inappropriate. I’m a little confused by that—if there’s a camera pointed at you and you aren’t fully clothed, I would think that you’d know what was going on. Hannah and the Seven Dresses – Marthe Jocelyn

I’m fascinated by the many different mediums children’s book illustrators use as they create pictures. In “Hannah and the Seven Dresses,” we see a clever way to show texture and color – the author, who is also the illustrator, made cloth collages and used them for the pictures. This is perfectly suited to the story, as the story is about clothes. Hannah sometimes has a hard time making decisions.
