There was several celebrity splits announced this week- some were the end of a marriage and one was the end of a business relationship. Morgan Freeman was lucky to get out of a car wreck in one piece earlier this week. The 71 year old actor suffered a broken arm, broken elbow, and injured shoulder after rolling a car in Mississippi. This week, he is getting out of something else – his 24 year marriage. His lawyer, Bill Luckett, announced the Freeman and his wife Myrna Colley-Lee are divorcing. Morgan Freeman in Serious Condition after Car Wreck

My best friend always forwards me interesting “breaking news” emails from Memphis. He just forwarded me one that said actor Morgan Freeman has been involved in a serious car wreck in north Mississippi. According to reports, Freeman and a female passenger were driving eastbound on Mississippi Highway in Tallahatchie County when his 1997 Nissan Maxima went off the road. Apparently, Freeman overcorrected to bring the car back on the road and flipped the Maxima several times. Evan Almighty (2007)

Evan Almighty is a sequel to Bruce Almighty(2003). The first featured Jim Carrey and Jennifer Aniston in the lead roles, both actors declined to appear in Evan Almighty and that’s all right. Evan Baxter (last seen as the news anchor that Carrey tortured in the first film) has been elected to Congress. He and his family move from Buffalo, New York to the North Virginia suburbs.
