Segways, those state-of-the-art, two-wheeled, electric scooters have become a popular means of transportation since they were introduced a few years ago. Along with police officers, mall security, and tourists in Hawaii, the Segways have now become the preferred method of transportation by disabled people who say the unusual scooters offer them more mobility and dignity than wheelchairs. Which is why advocates for the disabled are trying to persuade big wigs at Walt Disney World and SeaWorld Orlando to lift a ban on the use of Segways within the theme parks. Weekend Fun In Florida

The Green Bay Packers have a bye week this Sunday so my neighbors are going to Florida. (Nice, huh?) They are season ticket holders who don’t travel if it means missing a home game. New Time Shares Coming to the Animal Kingdom

Do you enjoy vacationing regularly at Disney World? Well, you’re in luck there is a plan in the works for 458 time-share units to be opened at the Animal Kingdom. This is the sixth such time share type of property to open in the Disney World area and will include some new construction and renovated accommodations at the Animal Kingdom Lodge and will feature the African details popular at the lodge as well as views of the Savannah.
