Abrupt Weaning

Before the blogger hiatus and my own vacation I had started talking about weaning. There are several ways and methods used for weaning and for today and tomorrow, we’ll just address the issues surrounding abrupt weaning. Very few moms I know use this method. Weaning: When Illness Interrupts the Process

When my daughter was fourteen months old I reluctantly decided it was time to wean. It was a difficult choice for me because it was something that she still enjoyed and took comfort in, but I was becoming increasingly uncomfortable doing it.
