Rainy Days

My daughter is a little afraid of mud these days. To a person who loves mud and jumps in puddles regularly, it is a strange thing to have a daughter who is afraid of mud. It’s not entirely unexpected, however. Doesn’t it often seem like children focus on whatever it is you enjoy, and that focus isn’t always positive? Caution: Preschooler Ahead

I was a big, big kid. In fact, I was such a tall child that at nine years old, a neighbor down the street told me that I was too big to be trick-or-treating at Halloween, and that I should be ashamed of myself.
