New Imagination Movers Album Out Tomorrow

All fans, or parents of fans, of Playhouse Disney’s bouncy Imagination Movers music quartet have reason for excitement this week, as a new CD from the band hits shelves tomorrow. Meanwhile, The Imagination Movers themselves resume filming their hit series in New Orleans this month. Stitch Kingdom reports that the band’s new CD, released on June 8, features 18 original songs from the second season of Imagination Movers. When we went to Disney World a couple of years ago, we had the pleasure of seeing Playhouse Disney Live at Disney-MGM Studios. My daughter, then 4 years old, thrilled to seeing Bear in the Big Blue House live on the stage along with Stanley and more. My daughter has a new favorite show on Playhouse Disney — “Mickey Mouse Clubhouse.” My daughter just calls it “House.” No, it is not reminiscent of the old “Mickey Mouse Club” where you had Mouseketeers shouting their names and performing cute skits. This show is completely animated and involves Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy, Goofy, Pluto, and their old nemesis Pete. The show begins with Micky Mouse greeting the viewers. What is Mickey Mouse Clubhouse? It’s a relatively new children’s television series from Disney that began premiered on May 5, 2006. New episodes air on Saturdays and Sundays and it is part of the Playhouse Disney weekend line up. In addition to watching Playhouse Disney, my daughter and I often go to PlayhouseDisney.com.
