Wall-E Off the Wall and Pleasure Island Reimagined?

In the age of reimaginations (think Get Smart, Transformers and the upcoming Star Trek) is it any surprise that Disney imagineers are re-imagining another feature of the Disney properties? They did it with the Living Seas, transforming it into to the Seas with Nemo & Friends. Pleasure Island Disney is closing the nightclubs on Pleasure Island. Doubletree Guest Suites

The Doubletree Guest Suites is one of the hotels in the Downtown Disney Resort Area. These hotels are conveniently located near Walt Disney World. Ah, Pleasure Island. When I worked at Walt Disney World in the late 1980s, other reservationists and I would often go to Pleasure Island after a swing shift. Some of the names of the clubs have changed but the fun is timeless.
