After being a bottom vote getter for four of the last six weeks, Kristy Lee Cook was finally eliminated from “American Idol” last week, despite getting praise from the week’s mentor Mariah Carey. Maksim Takes a Break

I am sad to say that Maksim Chmerkovskiy will not be a regular dancer on the upcoming season of “Dancing with the Stars.” His reps told People magazine that the gorgeous dancer would be taking time off, that he “needs a break.” The 28-year-old hoofer had previously been partnered with Laila Ali (who just finished up her first season on “American Gladiators”) and Spice Girl Mel B. The Wayan Brothers, famous for their Fox show “In Living Color” and movies such as Scary Movie and White Chicks, just finished a comedy pilot for VH1. The Biggest Loser – 138 pounds???

I wasn’t surprised this week when the Biggest Loser participants lost a lot of weight. Even though in normal circumstances, a weight loss as big as 7 pounds after week three would be considered a miracle, these folks are living and breathing their fitness plan. But still, I wasn’t prepared to see the Blue team members lose as much as they did. After all, two of them couldn’t train with Bob all week, and the other two had to eat out all week!
