Anatomy of a Homestudy

An adoption process usually begins with a homestudy. This does not mean, however, that social workers will drop in unannounced and give your home the white glove test. The social worker is required to visit your home at some point to verify its basic safety. This part of the resume is important, so make sure that you don’t skip this step. First of all, you need to decide who to use as your references. Take a moment and brainstorm all of the people who would have good things to say about your character or work performance.
