S is for Sit –Ups

When you do a sit-up you are performing a strength training exercise. A standard sit up begins with you lying on your back, knees bent at a 45 degree angle and your hands behind your head. You use leverage to lift yourself up until only your buttocks are touching the floor and your abdominal muscles are used to contract to lift you up and then relaxed to lower you back down. Fitness Journal – Lucky Day?

Was today a lucky day for you? I know it wasn’t what I would call a phenomenally lucky day for me. But then I’m not prone to looking at days as ‘lucky’ or not. We got up early and went to the park because for once, it wasn’t raining – go figure. We had 44 days of consecutive rain and while it doesn’t rain all day, the storms tend to make it muggy and unpleasant outdoors.
