Inspector Gadget 2 (2003)

When I saw that “Inspector Gadget” the movie had a sequel, with a different star, no less, I hoped it would be better than the first attempt at turning this cartoon into a live-action movie. It was different. It was less violent. Was it better? Well, it was sillier. I think that trying to compare the two would be difficult. Flubber (1997)

“Flubber” is a remake of the old Fred MacMurray film, “The Absent-Minded Professor,” but Robin Williams, in the role of Phillip Brainard, takes absent-minded to a whole new level. Have you ever been struck so speechless that you just had to sit there with a really vacant look on your face until you figured out what was going on?
