I must admit, of all the peculiar Hollywood match-ups that have been made legal I thought this one would last at least a couple of years… okay at least a year… okay at least six months. But, I was wrong. According to court papers, Pamela Anderson has filed for divorce from Kid Rock after less than four months of marriage. Britney Spears Files For Divorce

They said it wouldn’t last… and I guess they were right. According to various news sources, pop star Britney Spears has filed for divorce from her husband of two years, Kevin Federline. The news was confirmed by a Los Angeles Superior Court spokesperson Pat Kelly who told reporters: “Yes, it’s confirmed. It was filed today, on the grounds of irreconcilable differences.” According to court documents, Spears gives a separation date of Monday and asks that each party pay their own legal fees and waives her right to spousal support. I was shocked to hear the news: Reese Witherspoon and Ryan Phillippe have separated. After seven years of marriage, the couple released a statement to the media via their rep that reads: “Reese and Ryan remain committed to their family and we ask that you please respect their privacy and the safety of their children at this time.” The famous couple has two children daughter Ava, 7, and son Deacon, 3. So much for “’Til death do us part.” Well, chock one up for the critics… they were right, this time. Reps for Carmen Electra and Dave Navarro announced that the couple has indeed split. Or in their words: “amicably separated.” Electra, a former “Baywatch” star and Navarro former Red Hot Chili Peppers guitarist and current host of the TV show “Rock Star: Supernova” were married in November 2003. A few days ago I blogged about Christie Brinkley’s surprise split from her husband of 10 years Peter Cook. At the time of the announcement no reason was given for Brinkley’s decision to file for divorce. Now, a New York newspaper says it has uncovered the reason why Brinkley kicked her husband out of their Hampton mansion.
