New Rule Closes the Loophole with the “Do Not Call List”

Don’t you hate it when unwanted telemarketing messages invade your home? We get at least two or three a week. Funny, because I thought being on the official “Do Not Call” list would eliminate unwanted telemarketing calls. The calls are even more annoying when they come prerecorded. I just finished moving and in the process received a new phone line. At first, I did not register my new phone number with the Do Not Call List as my old number was. I now realize how spoiled I was for the last five years being on the Do Not Call List. Telemarketers Invading Your Home: Eek!

Have you had it with telemarketers? Are you just about ready to murder the next one that dares to call your house? Don’t their calls always come the moment you are about to sit down to dinner or watch your favorite television show? And isn’t it wonderful when they get your name wrong and/or struggle with the pronunciation? When they do, I love to correct them.
