Water Balloon Fun

Yesterday, I helped my boys get ready for a water balloon fight. It was a perfect afternoon for playing with water balloons. It was hot, dry, and being hit with water actually felt great. Cool Fun in Hot Weather

It’s hot out there! In many parts of the country, it’s hot enough to see headlines like “Heat Wave.” So, how can you and your kids have fun, stay safe, and stay cool? *First, apply waterproof sun block and then find ways to limit the time spent outdoors without cutting out all the fun. Water Balloon Softball

This game is so cool that Mom and Dad will want to join in. It’s a great way to cool off on a hot summer day. It’s hilarious to watch and even more fun to play. Be sure to roll the video camera and capture some of the funny moments, but watch out. You don’t want a fly “ball” to get your camera wet! Outdoor Fun

If your kids love to play outside, or if you’re looking for ways to get them out into the fresh air more often, try some of these ideas. Squirters Save squirt bottles such as those that ketchup, mustard, or other condiments come in and wash them out. Remove the labels and write your child’s name on a bottle with permanent marker. Give each child one and let them fill the bottles with water. They make great squirters and your children will have fun chasing each other around and getting wet.
