Celebrity Updates: Middleton’s New Life and The Wiggles’ New Addition

Kate Middleton is adjusting to her new life without boyfriend Prince William. After nearly five years together, the couple recently decided to call it quits and as all things related to the future king of England the news made international headlines. Be that as it may, the intense media scrutiny apparently hasn’t stopped Middleton from carrying on with her daily activities. The 25-year-old was recently photographed leaving her parents house (she reportedly flashed a huge smile at waiting photographers) for her own London flat. She was later caught by paparazzi carrying a tennis racket and smiling again as she walked … Continue reading

Medical Crisis Strikes “The Wiggles”

A while back I happened to catch an interview Regis Philbin and Kelly Ripa were conducting with Matthew Broderick in which the Tony-award winning actor confessed that even he couldn’t get tickets for his young son to see “The Wiggles” perform at Radio City Music Hall. At the time my daughter was only a few months old and I had no idea who “The Wiggles” were. Moreover, I was reluctant to believe that Sarah Jessica Parker’s husband couldn’t get his hands on a couple of tickets to see a children’s group perform live in concert at a venue that seats … Continue reading

Wiggly Play Time

If you are not already, the whole family can become fans of the Wiggles after watching one of their many DVDs. “Wiggly Play Time” can be one to add to your child’s collection. Jeff and Murray are sunbathing at the beginning of this DVD — sunbathing in their Wiggles outfits no less. Then the screen flicks to the Wiggles playing hide-and-seek out back of Wiggle House. When one of them bumps into a tree, a tape case with the “Wiggles Crest” on it and they discover that there is a video cassette of them when they were six years old. … Continue reading

This DVD begins with the ever-popular Wiggles song, “Here Come the Wiggles.” In this video, the Wiggles introduce you to their friends. Henry the Octopus, Captain Feathersword, Dorothy the Dinosaur, and Wags the Dog all come out and dance with the Wiggles. They invite you to “clap and sing and dance along too.” My … Continue reading

Yummy Yummy

Yet another Wiggles DVD has recently joined my daughter’s growing collection. “Yummy Yummy” features this lovable quartet singing and dancing to songs all about food, numbers, and friends. You and your child will have fun singing and dancing along with Greg, Murray, Jeff, and Anthony. The first song on this DVD is the infamous “Hot Potato.” With dancing reminiscent of childhood rhymes, the Wiggles provide movements for hot potatoes, cold spaghetti, and mashed bananas. Going along with the food theme, “Fruit Salad” is also featured on this DVD, but at the end. This is where the title for the DVD … Continue reading
