California Fires Threaten Celebrity Homes

Once again, California wildfires are threatening homes. A fast growing fire started in Montecito, California, which is in the hills above Santa Barbara. Today, Oprah talked about the wildfires, which threaten her own neighborhood. Other celebrities who have homes in Montecito are Carol Burnett, Jeff Bridges, Kevin Costner, Ellen DeGeneres, Michael Douglas, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Rob Lowe, Christopher Lloyd, and Steve Martin. California Wildfires Putting the Heat on Tourist Hot Spots

If you’ve watched even a few minutes of the news in the last week then you seen that parts of California have been reduced to a charred smoky mess. Yesterday Wayne Pacelle, the President and CEO of The Humane Society of the United States, sent out an email updating HSUS supporters about the wildfires in California. Animals Affected His email painted a dire picture of the firestorms sweeping the southern portions of the state that rapidly caused hundreds of thousands to flee their homes.
