Watch Out for Big and Buzz Words

I’ve written before about how important it is to put some care into choosing the “right” words for your marketing materials and sales pitches. In addition to looking for words that inspire and motivate customers to make purchases, we also need to watch out for using words that are too big or too cliché—words that are “insider” or industry-specific buzz words. Using Attention “Grabbers”

Before you can make a sale or convert someone from a prospect into a customer—you first have to get their attention. Some relationships take time to nurture and cultivate, but it doesn’t hurt to develop some savvy with using attention grabbers in your marketing materials.
