They are a clearinghouse of news and information for the health policy community. They are not associated with Kaiser Permanente or Kaiser Industries.
Right now, there is a lot of confusion about the Affordable Care Act. People are afraid that the law will cause something bad to happen to their health insurance plans. In general, most people are fearful of change, no matter what that change happens to be. There is a lot of misinformation about the ACA that is being spread around. This adds to the confusion and anxiety that people are experiencing about it. It can be difficult to discern facts scare tactics.
How much do you know about the Affordable Care Act? There is an easy way to find out. The Kaiser Family Foundation has created a Health Reform Quiz. Take the quiz, and you will find out how much you really know about how the ACA is going to affect your health insurance policy, and the policies that cover your family.
The quiz has ten questions. After you finish the quiz, it will show if your answer was correct or incorrect. You will get a detailed explanation of what the correct answer was. You also get to see how your knowledge compared with that of the rest of the people who took the quiz.
There are some very interesting questions in the quiz. Will the health reform law cut benefits that were previously provided to all people on Medicare? Will the health reform law allow undocumented immigrants to receive financial help from the government to buy health insurance? Will the health reform law prohibit insurance companies from denying coverage because of a person’s medical history or health condition?
