Shopping online at Target is one of my favorite ways to get a deal, but for a limited time, the deals are even sweeter, because of Target’s big free shipping event.
Over the weekend, my family and I hit a local Target in search of some plastic bins to store our winter items. In our new home, we lost closet space but gained an attic. So instead of storing winter coats and comforters in our (previous) large cedar closet, they need to get packed up until winter sets in again.
While we at the store, we checked out some patio furniture that was on sale. We have a screened in porch, a place I love to enjoy while reading or writing. It would be nice to have some actual furniture out there. Of course, with our mini-van, there was no way to bring any of it home. That is why I was so delighted when I heard about Target’s free shipping event.
During the free shipping event, there are many items that qualify, including sale items, and yes, including patio furniture! I can’t imagine how expensive it would be to ship these large items normally.
Most of the free shipping deal takes place now through May 19th, with the exception of free shipping on vacuums, which ends on May 8th. Free shipping on select clearance items is only good until supplies last. The Target deal offers the follow items for free shipping:

In addition to the free shipping deal, there are current sales and promotions on products. It is always great if you can combine a sale with a shipping deal. Bedding, for example, is both on sale and offers free shipping.
