The Care Bears are Back!

The Care Bears first appeared on the scene in 1982 on a card series by American Greetings. Each little bear in a bright color with a cute little insignia on the tummy makes for a bright day and smile. Now, 30 years later the Care Bears are just as loved. To celebrate these cute bears who teach us so much about caring, The Hub TV Network created a new CG series called Care Bears: Welcome to Care-a-Lot. The series, Care Bears: Welcome to Care-a- Lot, premiers on June 8th at 8:00 PM EST on the Hub Network. Tune in to see the new Care Bear look that is just as sweet but maybe a bit brighter than before. The new series is based on the original so you can your kids will enjoy watching together on Saturday mornings.

I love everything Care Bear. As a kid my favorite Care Bear was Cheer Bear. You know the pink bear with the rainbow on his tummy. Funshine Bear, the yellow bear with the sun on the tummy, was my oldest daughter’s favorite bear. My 7 year old, loves Cheer Bear, just like me. My little Kare Bear, Kara, loves Wonderheart Bear. Wonderheart Bear is the youngest and newest member of the cast. She love babies so this sweet little bear just grabbed her heart and will not let go.

We had the opportunity through Mommy Parties and The Hub TV Network to view a screening of the new series. We fell in love. The bears are as cute as ever and the story is a delight. I would love to visit Care-a-Lot. It is a fun, sweet, and innocent show, perfect for little ones. With so many shows you have to turn your TV off or it is nice to know the Care Bears are back.
