She’s been pregnant three times… in the movies. Now Toni Collette finally knows what it is like to give birth in real life.
The “Little Miss Sunshine” star is the proud new mom of a daughter she and her musician husband Dave Galafassi named Sage Florence.
Collette’s rep says the couple welcomed their new addition into the world on Wednesday.
Sage is the first child for the 35-year-old actress and her husband of four years.
Fashion designer Stella McCartney gave birth the day before Collette at a London hospital, but her latest bundle of joy is No. 3 in a family that has steadily grown over the last couple of years.
The 36-year-old daughter of Paul McCartney gave birth to a son, Beckett Robert Lee on Tuesday, according to Vogue.com.
Beckett joins 2-year-old brother Miller and 13-month-old sister Bailey.
McCartney’s husband, Alasdhair Willis told reporters that mom and baby are “doing well.”
Meanwhile, back in the United States, singer Monica also welcomed another son on Tuesday.
According to his mom, Romelo Montez Hill weighed in at 5 lbs, 6 oz, and measured 19-inches long. The baby joins big brother Rodney, 2.
The 27-year-old songstress told reporters little Romelo came three weeks before his January 28th due date, but is “healthy” and “strong.”
The New York Post is reporting that New Jersey Nets player Jason Kidd is preparing to be a dad for the fifth time.
According to the paper, the pro basketball player is expecting a child with his model girlfriend Hope Dworaczyk.
The 34-year-old athlete is also dad to T.J., 9, and twins Miah and Jazelle, 5, by ex-wife Joumana Kidd, as well as a son from a previous relationship.
Finally, the countdown to baby Richie is on.
According to Joel Madden’s older brother Josh, Nicole Richie is due to give birth any day now.
Josh confirmed to reporters yesterday that the expectant parents don’t know the baby’s gender and have not settled on final name choices either.
