The Disney Blog Week In Review for the Week Ending June 6

Disney offers a little something for every in the family and this week’s articles reflect the multiple levels of interest that Disney fulfills. We’re going back a bit further into the end of May before diving into our first week of June. So let’s take a look at articles you may have missed this week.

Toy Story Mania examines one of the latest attractions to open at Disney World and Disney’s California Adventure. Whether you’re a fan of Toy Story or not this attraction is more than enough to attract repeat visitors. In 5 Great Disney World Shows for Kids we offered some insight into what live shows parents might want to plan to visit during their vacation at Disney World.

We continued our lists with 5 Terrible Disney Movies because even Disney makes some serious stinkers (or worse, boring films). 10 Great Disney Songs listed those Disney tunes that you hum without thinking. Have you checked out the latest Indiana Jones movie? If so, you’ll likely appreciate the Indiana Jones and the Summer of Hidden Mysteries featured at Disney this summer. Indiana Jones and the Temple of the Forbidden Eye is an adventure that gives guests a fresh experience every time.

Tinker Bell Has a New Voice! Again! One can only hope that all the retooling this project has undergone will result in a fantastic film for fans of the Peter Pan’s winged companion. Disney is expanding their scope to add Graphic Novels for Disney? with their investment in Kingdom Comics.

In Disney news, we examined Angelina Jolie Argues Cultural Rights vs Disney Princesses and whether her concern is well founded or not. Finally, in what I think was one of the week’s best articles, we learned about Buzz Lightyear in Outer Space? This project is a part of the Shuttle Discovery’s journey into space this week and is wonderful for anyone who has dreamed of walking among the stars.

Heather Long is 35 years old and currently lives in Wylie, Texas. She has been a freelance writer for six years. Her husband and she met while working together at America Online over ten years ago. They have a beautiful daughter who just turned five years old. She is learning to read and preparing for kindergarten in the fall. Her current favorites are the treadmill (she walks up to 90 minutes daily) and doing yoga for stretching. She also performs strength training two to three times a week. Her goals include performing in a marathon such as the Walk for Breast Cancer Awareness or Team in Training for Lymphoma research. She enjoys sharing her knowledge and experience through the fitness and marriage blogs.
