The Fitness Blog Week in Review for July 7-13

The weeks are flying by this summer, so let’s dive into our review of the fitness blog for the week of July 7 through July 13.

Saturday, July 7

We continue our Fitness Journal-Lucky Day? entries by taking a look at a day in the park (well an hour really) designed to exercise and enjoy the weather. In C is for Calorie we examine what a calorie is and why we should care about it.

Sunday, July 8

In D is for Dumbbell we look at free weights, the history behind their creation and how they got such an insulting name. In Fitness Journal – Family Sick Day we detail the difficulties of exercising and finding time to exercise when you are sick or your family is sick.

Monday, July 9

E is for Energy examines our body’s natural need for energy and what resources are available to it. In Fitness Journal – Take it to the Park we head back out for a fitness work out and playtime in the park. This is a great way to combine your exercise with playtime for the little ones.

Tuesday, July 10

F is for Fitness explores the different levels and types of fitness and what they mean to you. Fitness Journal – Will This Rain Ever Stop? after 44 days of rain and more than 15 inches of it, we’re feeling a little soggy down here.

Wednesday, July 11

G is for Glutes and since you use them to walk, sit down, stand up and more – there’s a lot you need to know about them.

Thursday, July 12

H is for Health and exercise is an important part of your overall health.

Friday, July 13

I is for Indoor Cycling and whether you cycle for sport, fun or exercise, indoor cycling can help you meet your goals whether it’s too hot, too cold or too wet outside.
